CLIENT
Abel Miranda is a famous tattoo artist known for his style, which has distinguished him in many countries around the world for the visual strength of his compositions, difficulty and technical cleanliness.
To take further his life’s work he opened his studio where international artists from all over Europe come together to bring tattoo innovation to Barcelona.

CHALLENGE
Create a new image for the Avantgarde Tattoo studio with an image that had both an “Ethnical and Avantgarde style”.

 

SOLUTION
After deep research on Abel’s style and work, comprehending his techniques and ways of work, and with only two words to describe his vision for his new studio (Ethnical and Avantgarde), I created a mood board with a group of images that connected his vision with what he represented on his art; by playing around with shapes I found in my surroundings, in images and even creating splashes of paint, I managed to incorporate his Idea in an experimental and modern design.
